I went "shoe shopping" today
I told a buddy I went shoe shopping and laughed and said I felt "gay". and we both laughed and I was going to post as such but.....
To stereotype homosexual dewds in such a way is wrong and not how I as a person want to come across. Hey I may have more fashion tennis shoe picking than a gay dewd I don't know. If'n yer gay I mean no disrespect when I said what I said to my buddy. I was just goofing around but had to confess my comments. But I digress HEY! When you go out and get new sneekers do you shop? Not me I was a surf rat as a kid and skater as a teen so I walk in and look to see what pair of VANS are on sale that look nuetral and out the door a run. I did see some cool Tony Hawks on sale but stayed with my time tested VANS. peace and new laces

Re: I went "shoe shopping" today
Vans are pretty sweet, I personally like Kswiss for causal shoes. Just I have the black on blacks, and the white on whites. They are classic.

Re: I went "shoe shopping" today
I've become a big fan of Pumas, and Champs sports usually sells 2 for $80.
I've got these in brown, black, and blue, and I want green and gray (I sound like a chick)

Re: I went "shoe shopping" today
I have about 8 pairs of Air Jordan’s. I really only like the early Jordan’s I wore as a kid, I through V. I like the IV's best. But I really don't wear them a lot. I mostly just wear sandals or Vans. But I would say I wear sandals 85% of the time.

Wow!! That's crazy how popular they became. The old factory is down the road from me. They don’t make them there anymore but you can still get yours fixed there or buy them for $25 bucks; it used to be $15. But then again Vans used to be $20. I had no idea that people wore them on the east coast too. I guess the old Guy that founded them in San Clemente back in 1973 doesn’t have to work anymore.

Re: I went "shoe shopping" today
Yea my girlfriend say's the same thing. I kind of got addicted to buying them when Nike started coming out with retro’s in 99'. Just trying to recapture my youth I guess. I used to have a few more. I just never wore them much so I sold them on E-Bay.

Thank the LORD they all work, they love having massive pairs of sneaks. I'm lucky to be able to tell my grass cutting sneaks from my good ones.

Re: I went "shoe shopping" today
I have two pairs of these Reefs
They're great because not only do you have an emergency bottle opener when you need one (comes in handy but watch out for dog poop) but they are also the most comfortable flip flops I own. Reef just came out with a pair that has a flask built into the heel. I might have to pick those up soon.
