Looking back, I wish I had done that, but I didn't know I had the ability then. I've attended a few drama workshops and conferences over the years, but I still have a lot to learn. I'd like to do more improv stuff, but I find it somewhat intimidating.

I, ironically, feel more comfortable in front of big crowds. Like if I have to give a presentation to 5 people or 500 people then I'd rather be 500. So being on a stage always felt kind of relaxing to me. Plus it was a good change from playing sports the rest of the year.

There is something about being in character though. You become someone else and that gives you a freedom to do things you wouldn't do as yourself. |

Yes, way deep. I love roles you can really sink your teeth into. Although, I can't write a tragedy to save my life. I only write comedy sketches.
You ever do any writing? Based on the stuff you've written here, I would think you'd be very good at it. |

I've been fortunate to play some pretty deep roles. A lot of pretty lecherous people. That was kind of my niche for a while. And now I'll bring it back to the Redskins. One time I did this play in college and this girl I knew was dating this guy at the time and came with her and his niece (or little cousin, something like that, she was like 6 years old or something). So anyhow, after the show everyone is outside saying "Good show" and all that stuff. And this guy walks up to me with this little girl and says "Hey, great job. She thought you were really funny and she was wondering if you'd sign her playbill" So how does that bring it back to the Redskins? The guy who basically asked me for my autograph? Redskins kicker (at the time) Scott Blanton. Never did I think I'd see the day I'd be the one signing something for a Redskin
