When you work in government or law enforcement, people just expect you to be an asshole. I usually give people more information than they actually need when they come to the jail. When I do that, they look at me like I'm an alien. I can't count the number of times people have said, "you're the first person to actually take the time to explain to me what's going on."
Issuing gun permits is another story. I get so many idiots applying for permits and most of them can't follow simple instructions. What is it about "you can't be a convicted felon or you can't have a domestic violence conviction" that people don't understand? Only to have them say, "durrrr... but that was ten years ago. I thought it come off my record." No it doesn't, you redneck dumbass. It never comes off. You just thought I wouldn't find your conviction and you wasted my time running your record. I seriously want to reach through the glass and smack them upside the head. |

I worked at the Wendy's in Burke (VA) as a teen for couple of months...after working there I never ate there again. I would recommend that you not eat there.
