Absolutely...in general, you have to give up talent, to get talent. Minnesota isn't going to let KG walk for a sack of beans.

Toronto and Philly did it for AI and Vince Carter. But the longer they wait the more his trade value goes down. Plus he will opt out after next year so they need to hurry up and trade him.

That will still give them 1 more year with KG, so they won't give him up for nothing even if they KNOW he will walk next year.
