I understand your point for the most part, but I have to ask. Out of pure curiosity have you ever ben a fan of wrestling? Much less have you followed wrestling when Benoit was big? I guess what I am getting at is that from what I remember about wrestling, they dont go into details about the wrestler. I mean whether or not if he is a good family man or not...

If a fan feels that a wrestler is a good family man it is usually what the fan finds out about the wrestler on his own. Not what Jim Ross or Jerry "the King" Lawler say on a broadcast of Monday night RAW or what Vinny Mac decides as the out come of a match or the next story line...

Best example, look at Terry "Hulk" Hogan. When he was with the nWo, he was a total heel. But after seeing "Hogan Knows Best" I really dont think that when he was a heel that he was a bad family man, him being a heel was all part of the act... And by the way his daughter is HOT... And so is his wife for being an older chick...

I haven't watched wrestling since Andre the Giant / Jimmy Superfly / Hulk Hogan with a slice of Randy Macho Man Savage roamed the planet. I really started to stop watching it when I realized there was some guys in an office somewhere smoking weed and coming up with these crazy themes and schemes. To me there is definitely a part of it that is entertainment. The other parts of it are soooo fake that I refuse to watch now. I guess I just grew up and out of that phase.

haha, I never saw that. I hear he's a nice guy, but again, I don't have a clue.

I think we all agree this was a tragedy, and I feel for the families of the child and wife...but I think Chris was a horrible person for what he did, and even though you shouldn't judge someone by one act in their life, it's hard not to after what he did.

You are 100% right, but like I said, usually a fan will dig into a person's life and make up their own mind as to whether or not that person is a family guy or an asshole. Much like you said about Tom Glavin, most think that he is respectable, but to someone who knows him he is an ass. I mean look at T.O. to most he is an per-maddona, but I am sure that there are some that veiw him as a decent person. At the end of the day I guess it is just a fan's opinion.

Yes, I agree that it is a tragedy for what happened to his child and wife, but mostly his child. And for Chris or anyone to do that to a family, well lets just say that suicide is way to kind for a person like that...
