Shit Im happy if I get 3 or 4 days off in a year (aside from the weekends). I am a workaholic. I cannot bring myself to call in sick or take any unnecessary days off. When I was in the Army I always saved up my leave time, which was beneficial because it enabled me to get out 60 days early while I still collected a paycheck. Its called Terminal or Transitional Leave.

I haven't called in sick in 8 years. The only (no notice) days off I took was when my daughter died and I used vacation. I have worked for places that give 3 weeks vacation, and I use every day of it. I think everyone NEEDS vacations.

I couldnt agree more. I just need to learn and take mine in small doses. I have learned that anything more than two weeks off at a time is too long.

I agree...I usually take 1 week at a time. This cruise to Hawaii in January will be a 1.5 week thing. That's the longest vaca we have taken...hard not to though since Hawaii is so far away.

Understandably so. I usualy take at least 2 weeks. 1 for the vacation and 1 to unwind after the vacation.
