No, I was ready to get off of the sofa. The only troublre that I had was finding competitive pay and benefits to go back to work.

The messed up thing is that when I got desperate and was willing to take just about anything for a paycheck no one would hire me. They would look at what I had been making previously and my job skills and often told me that I was over qualified. Among those who turned me down were Police depts. and Security jobs. I was like WTF! It all worked out for the best though.

I know the feeling...man do I ever know the feeling. I have had shit jobs because of the same thing...just settling for what came around cause I was "overqualified". People saw that I had a Masters in a place when it's rare to have a Bachelors, and they passed on me. It sucks. They assume I want a very high level of pay, when I don't.
This is just another reason why I want to move.

I understand that. That is exactly why I didnt stay in Augusta when I ETS'd. Augusta was the Lowest paying city in the State of Georgia in 2005. I would have been overqualified and underpaid had I stayed there.

This is precisely why I want to move to Denver...LOTS of opportunity. Even Huntsville has a lot of opportunity.
Did I tell you I have a friend trying to get me to move to Brunswick, GA?

There just doesn't seem to be opportunities in Brunswick...so it looks like it's a race between Huntsville and Denver.
