The New American Standard is the most accurate English translation, but it can be hard to follow. I like more contemporary versions (New Living Translation). I tried reading "The Message" but didn't like format of it. Plus, some of the language the author uses is lame. It sounds like some old guy trying to be hip and it comes off corny.

As far as Adam ratting on Eve, he should have. That is a prime example of a man not accepting the responsibility of being the spiritual leader of his household.

Absolutely correct.

I agree about The Message as well. It's way over the top in some of the word choices. It makes me cringe a little. I think trying to compete with the KJV is utterly futile. I use the NASB because, as you said, it is the most accurate.

Protect the woman? LOL. When God asked Adam if he had eaten from the tree Adam replied, "It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit and I ate it." Eve then blamed the snake. They were all a bunch of whiners IMO.

Brokerage Firm (Not sure what his role is yet), Real-Estate (they buy, sell and rent out), and a small carry out pizza place (they own it).

The Real Estate semi tycoon is married to the Broker guy and the Restaraunt owners are married to each other. If you are interested let me know. Like I said, they are in Breckinridge which is a couple of hours from Denver.

Of course I am interested.
I've actually considered going after a real estate license...I really enjoy helping people find houses, and I will go with them when they view and negotiate...I do it all the time here, and my wife and I will "just for the fun of it" go to open houses on our off time just to see what is around and for how much.
I don't know how helpful i would be to a brokerage firm.
