angry- I'm not QUITE ready to give up single life just yet. One week from tomorrow I'll see my gf for the 1st time in 6 weeks. I miss her like crazy but it has been nice to have a little time away. We've been together 4 1/2 years and this is the 1st time we've been apart for longer than 10 days. So the space has been kinda cool, but I miss her nonetheless...

I have been away from my wife months at a time before. The most recent was 11 months ago we were apart for 2 months. Similar situation to you. She came up here to get the kids enrolled in school while I stayed in Augusta to finish my tour. At first the space was nice, but after a couple of weeks withdrawl set in.
