I'm not doing anything. I was trying to find a house/dog sitter earlier. I need a vacation.

To the beach with some friends. Nothing fancy. I can't leave the dog for an extended period of time so I'm staying close to home.

We rented a mountain cabin last year and went rafting. I don't want to go rafting anytime soon again. Definately not a good experience.

You can't leave your dog with a friend or relative? Or even a kennel type place that is like a little vacation for your dog?

Nope. I don't have any family willing to take him. We kenneled him last year for the first time and he got so stressed he became dehydrated and started having bloody diarrhea. Ewww...

It's best he stays at home. His age is a factor. I have a couple of nieces that might be willing to stay here. I'm trying to lure them will all access to the pool.
