Sort of like no-mans land. I must say, the first time I went, I thought it would be a bunch of drunken toothless locals, shootin' up the area on the bad side of a case of Busch. It was very civil and in general good safe range practices observed. A you say you could do what you wanted within reason. Naturally, it no longer exists as of a year ago. I am now relegated to the "pay" ranges.

I think I went there about 4 or 5 years ago. My best friend lives in Fort Myers, and I travel there at least once a year. He's an avid gun collector.
I remember him getting pissed about something closing and he could no longer just take his guns outside.

I don't remember exactly where it was...but I knew it was near aligator alley, so it had to be it.
I love that area. It's very pretty, and relaxing. Even when I got caught in N. Fort Myers when hurricane Charlie hit, I still enjoyed my time there.
Real Estate has gotten out of hand though.
