The Duke lacrosse players were indicted too. How did that work out?

Like I said before. Is anyone considering the source? I am sure the people who are going to testify are upstanding members of society who just felt like doing a good deed by giving up information on him.

What problems with the law. Oh yeah, the water bottle incident where he wasn't charged with a single thing. Another public opinion case that he lost.

"Government of the people for the people by the people" We aren't the government? Sit on granddad's knee so I can help you find a clue.

A VT alumn?

The guy is in this, and in it DEEP! you would be niave to thing he isn't. Who pays for all this stuff at the house when not a single one of those fools are employed? Who paid for the house when his boys scoped it out and said this would be good. the 18 page document seemed to be pretty specific about a lot of the details. It sounded to me like they have the written proof putting Vick some what involved in this mess. They seem to have 4 witnesses putting Vick at the fights, agreeing to monetary bets, and killing the dogs.
The Duke Lacross thing was a little different. there was no evidence those kids did anything from the get go. All of that was based on what she said - he said crap. And you saw what happened to that prosecutor! I believe the Feds took their time gathering the evidence. They obviously have some pretty definative proof of Vicks involvement.

Up until a couple of days ago, everybody thought Vick wouldn't be indicted. Hell, The Surry County prosecutor didn't know anything about it until the Feds released the info. I really like how Feds handled this whole thing. The made sure they had all their ducks in a row before playing their hand. I can't imagine in any cicumstances MV getting off from this. If I was on the Jury(and i know I have only read a portion of the prosecutions case so far) I would have a hard time believeing he is not guilty as sin.

Absolutely. The difference between a federal prosecutor and a local city prosecutor is like the difference between a Honda and a Rolls Royce. The Feds are not going to screw this up, and there is no way they even bother indicting him without some strong evidence. The Feds will be able to expend as much time and resources as they need to prosecute this case.

I don't think you understood at all what GibbsisGod was trying to say. No one is discrediting the value of human life. But allegations against Vick have nothing to do with sending an army to war. It was an inappropriate and irrelevant analogy. Then your second post was about the FBI and CIA being scum. Not a good start.

I'll agree with that. If you want to bring politics into this then take it to the parking lot where politics is fine.

its not just the war buddy, its the way we treat dogs as equal and sometimes better than humans!! it sickens me how we get up in arms when something like this happens, but what about darfur? hell what about the homeless and less fortunate living here in america!?!? we put dogs in $500 spas, buy $200 dollar outfits etc. i just wish i could ship some of these peta people across the ocean to see what life is really like for most of world....and i have 3 dogs so its not about me hating dogs at all........
.....and after what the CIA did to the black panthers, how can i believe anything those scumbags say (sorry if there is grammer or spelling errors Mr. PSUSKINSFAN21, i'm on summer break and i could give a rats ass for a spelling check, just like most of the other people on this site from what i read) this AIN'T english 101.....like the AIN'T

Re: Grand Jury Indicts Vick

Man, Michael Vick’s stature here in Atlanta is falling faster than Jessica Simpson’s boobs (they are “real” you know). Regardless of the fact that he is entitled to his constitutional rights and has yet to have his day in court, as I’ve said many times to my kids: you are judged by the company you keep and you can often be perceived as guilty just by association alone. Unfortunately, Vick has been surrounded by some rather unsavory company and his image, and probably his career, will most likely be irreparable. Personally, I believe Vick is at the very least guilty of allowing this deplorable activity on property he owns, and most likely financed the operation among other things. The Falcon’s faithful here (not me) have long memories, and among the many dim-witted things Vick has committed, the “one fingered salute” last season still reigns as top of the heap. Michael “Con”Vick (thanks Colin Cowterd-anyone else think he sounds like Sylvester the cat on Looney Tunes?) has left the building.

Well, at least in your short time here you've shown that you're not prone to unqualified, blanket generalizations or anything.

And it's "they're." Just figured you'd like to know the grammatically correct way to insult an entire group of people.
