its not just the war buddy, its the way we treat dogs as equal and sometimes better than humans!! it sickens me how we get up in arms when something like this happens, but what about darfur? hell what about the homeless and less fortunate living here in america!?!? we put dogs in $500 spas, buy $200 dollar outfits etc. i just wish i could ship some of these peta people across the ocean to see what life is really like for most of world....and i have 3 dogs so its not about me hating dogs at all........
.....and after what the CIA did to the black panthers, how can i believe anything those scumbags say (sorry if there is grammer or spelling errors Mr. PSUSKINSFAN21, i'm on summer break and i could give a rats ass for a spelling check, just like most of the other people on this site from what i read) this AIN'T english 101.....like the AIN'T

I still don't think you get it. It seems like you're trying to antagonize for the sake of antagonizing.

I mean, it's like when the Redskins lose a game and everyone gets pissed we all know that grand scheme it's not a big deal when people are dying senselessly every day. But it's not relevant to the immediate discussion of the Redskins. To the immediate discussion of Vick and his alleged mistreatment of dogs and his future in the league, the AIDS epidemic in South Africa (as an example) doesn't really seem to fit.

Like I posted earlier you need to take your political stuff over to the parking lot as this is not the place for it. Why not start thread in the parking lot section and explain to us what the CIA did to the black panthers.

What makes one life more important than another?
For Instance, does someone that is severely mentally retarded not deserve the same rights as someone who is "normal"? You may argue that "well he's human, so yes". While I would agree yes is the answer, but what makes the life of a dog any less important than a human? Is it the brain function? Or are you just more interested in the specific race? Cause there are plenty of dogs that are more intelligent than humans.
While I do not treat my Basset Hounds better than myself, they are definitely like my children, and I love them as such, and give them a great life. I do not feel this is wrong in any way, nor should I apologize for it.

Well those are valid issues, however if you look at the title of this thread, this thread is about how Vick treated his dogs. As such, you should expect to hear about animal cruelty and people for or against it. This is not a post about homelessness...feel free to start a thread in the parking lot to discuss these issues and I'm sure many of us here will be right there to discuss it with you.

Not that I am judging, but if they spent $700 on a dog, well, that's better than going to Vegas and giving it away on the black jack table. LMFAO...i don't know..... maybe common sense. and i love my dog as much as my kid, and if someone had a gun to my kid's and dog's head and said pick....guess what, i'm buying a new dog. i've lived in three different continents in my short life(trying to make it 4 by next year) so trust me, i've been to the places of the world your talking about and even though people might not be as free there or might not have the same access to education as we do here.....they do know there is a difference between dogs and humans, one life does mean more than the other buddy, i.e you eat meat? if not you eat veggies right? they both are living things right? so how can you say dogs are in the same level as humans when we kill cows for meat and plants for veggies?!?! and "ain't" made the dictionaries? you see you learn something new everyday bro

Trust me, your opinions have nothing to do with the fact that I assumed you were in junior high......rather, the content and tone of your posts did. What's worse is that you come on here and continually ignore the advice/instructions of the long-time members of this site to take your political opinions to the "parking lot" (it is a real place on this site, believe it or not). You see, it's obvious to me that from your first four posts you have a political agenda that you want to express. And however misguided that political agenda may be, there is still a forum available to you to express it.......it's just not on this thread. Want to avoid attacks?
