I managed to piss LB off again. What's crazty is my sister is a Scorpio and we are really close, but LB takes everything that I say so personally. I really do not mean any harm.

Like I said, I think you guys flirt with pushing the perverbial buttons too hard, too often.
Not that I'm saying she's sensitive, but she is a woman. You joke with her like she's one of the guys, and well, she's not. Don't get me wrong, that's OK that she's not. You just need to be careful.

I never take anything you say personally. It's just not in my nature. Sorry hon, but I find it amusing that you actually think you have that much of an effect on me. I get the jokes and most of the time I'm lmao at the stuff you say about me. Not all the time though mind you, because sometimes you suck at the funny.

I could take up a whole page explaining why this is bs, but I don't have the energy. I will say this though. You guys have a tendency to stereotype females as these overly emotional, high strung drama queens, because those are the types of women you encounter day to day. That's your experience, so that's what you tend to hear in your head when you read responses from females. I happen to be the complete opposite and there's nothing I can really do about your perceptions, except maybe use more emoticons to express myself. But I hate using them because they seem so damn cheezy. Also, ask yourself this. How often have you seen me use all caps, exclamation points or any other types of punctuation that would indicate a particular mood? Pretty much never, which would seem to indicate my responses are pretty laid back. It's all about perception gentlemen. Stop reading so much into what I say. And Jsarno, I actually think there are some guys on this board who are ten times more emotional than I ever could be. Your comment comes off like I'm to be treated like glass and that's insulting. Trust me, I can hang with the best of them. I've worked in criminal justice for 15 years for pete's sake. Give me more credit for having thicker skin than that.

Now I'm actually pissed at myself for sitting here and typing all of this. I didn't realize I was going to have to conduct a LB 101 class.

No need to do that. I like the dynamic we have. I will give as good as I get. I may even get pissed at you from time to time, but I get over things pretty quickly and I never hold a grudge. No one is saying for you to be treated like glass. Nor has anyone said you are sensitive, but you then write a nice long post to explain that you are not defending youself. There was nothing that needed to be defended LB.
