Yeah that OJ thing is very tasteless, and I've read that Barry Sanders dances after scoring a TD in the game. How retarded is that?

You would think with having 3 years to work on this game they would have done a better job at nailing down the finer details. Plus the graphics are pretty dated and don't look much different than 2k5. The player models still look too lanky.

Yeah, I wouldn't say that they look much different from 2K1. Their graphics were always something I had a problem with.

I bought the game the day it came out and only had a chance to play it a couple of times, but in my opinion it blows Madden away. I'm a bit biased though because I thought that the 2k series was always better than Madden and it was still evolving.

I know when you create a player you can pick the TD celebration for your player and I believe you can modify existing players (I have to look into it though). I know I played in a game against Barry Sanders and he didn’t dance after his Touchdown.

As far as the player models go, they may bit a bit lanky (Even though they fixed them a little in this version) I still think they are a lot better then the models they use in Madden. The Madden ones seem to short and stiff and run like robots.

Having the old players are really cool. They have most of the Hogs except for Bostic!?! plus Theismann, Rypien, Baugh, Gary Clark, Ricky Sanders, Bobby Mitchell, Charlie Taylor, Dexter Manley and Dave Butz. Some noteable exceptions include Art Monk (again he gets snubbed!!) John Riggins and Darrell Green. But like I said earlier you can create players and it is very detailed (the most I’ve ever seen in any football game, and I have owned them all).

On the subject of creating things you can also create a team from the uniforms to the team name in very detailed fashion (again the most detailed I’ve seen).

So there’s my two cents. I strongly suggest you buy it.
