Depends on what you consider "lifted".
If you're talking hard core, (ie suppliments etc) it's been a good 6 years or so. If you're talking about lifting to maintain and remain strong, then a year or so.

I was lifting heavily with supplements during deployments and just maintained when I got home. I was able to keep my physique for a few years with just lifting while using creatine and protein. Well, I got out and got lazy for about 4 months, so in February I started back to the gym and took the entire month of June and some of July off (Baby). I started back to the gym about 2 weeks ago. My body is almost ready to start going hard again. This time I am not going to take any more time off. I am getting to the age where I have to constantly maintain or suffer the consequences. Love handles come back awfully quick these days. Especially if Corona is your beer of choice. |
