Campbell starting to raise some eyebrows elsewhere

ESPN - Chadiha: Campbell fully prepared to lead Redskins - NFL

Good story on ESPN.com. Looks like our new leader is starting to get a little buzz.

Re: Campbell starting to raise some eyebrows elsewhere

Good to hear. I know that for the past...oh, its too long to remember, I have always eagerly anticipated the beginning of Redskins training camp only to find myself somewhere in the middle of the regular season threatening to cancel the NFL Ticket, trash all my 'Skins memorabilia, sell the house, sell the kids and kick the dog. However, I truly got a sense last year that Campbell may very well be the real McCoy. He is athletic, willing to learn, and seemed to have a very good presence in the pocket. I sincerely think (hope) he will do well.

Re: Campbell starting to raise some eyebrows elsewhere

I'm as optimistic as i am going to be. I just need to see it now. He looked good at the ONE training camp (only going to one is hell for me) i went to. I want to see him play against another defense and tomorrow he'll have a chance and will have one for the next 5 weeks till the season starts. I'll be watching the scrimmage on TV on Sunday. I'll have to go to a friends house to watch NFL network. FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE BABY!!!!!!

I heard a guy reporting for I thinks the Riggins show or show that is before him or maybe a totaly different source all together. The guy said it was kind of strange how none of the big sports news crews were in DC and that last year they where all there reporting on the Skins. He also commented that none of these sports people are picking the Skins for anything and its like they for got that the skins were even in the NFL. Also talked about how JC looked a little off the first two days but has been hitting this throws ever sense. The mood in camp was one of the players all have something to prove and its all business.

I'm not worried about JC. This guy is going to be a stud. What worries me is the WR's. Particularly Santana Moss. He is already hurt w/ hamstring and groin injuries and it's not even the 1st pre-season game. He is going to have to be on the field in order for JC to have the type of year we all know he is capable of.

There is an article about him at NFLplayers.com too. Pretty much the same information about him as in the ESPN article, but it's nice to see our guys getting some love.

WR's could be a problem if Lloyd continues to disapoint. ARE and Moss must stay healthy!

I'm so tired of this whole "Jason this, Jason that." I just want to the SOB in action.

I'm in agreement here, and I mentioned the same thing in an earlier post back in the spring. During OTA's Moss was having problems, he missed several games last year with the same type problems he's having now. Much of the passing offense goes through him, and if he can't stay healthy the passing game will suffer, limiting the things Jason can do.

Yeah, CP with tendonitis and Moss' hamstring is what bugs me the most. UNless JC gets hurt he is going to impress folks, but he needs his supporting cast healthy to really do some damage. Llyod's potential attitude problem is also worrisome.

Teams have to sign off on it and knowing Gibbs and how paranoid he tends to be he probably wanted nothing to do with NFLN cameras being behind the scenes.

You're absolutely right, the success of JC depends greatly on the play of ARE, and Lloyd. If they're not on top of their game this year, and JC has to rely on Moss, and Cooley then I can't see JC, or the offense having a great year.
