I can vouch for lasik... had it done four years ago and my vision rocks (have astigmatism in both eyes too). I was wearing -7.5 contacts and now i'm 20/20 in my right eye and close in my left. Normal age will wear your eye sight down, even after lasik, so prepare for that.

The new wavefront technology (custom lasik) gives a spot on analysis of what needs to be done to your cornea.

If you decide to do it, make sure to take the valium when they tell you to take it. Like Season-Ticket Holder says, the only time it hurts is an hour after surgery- and you'll need to pass out during that time.
