It's pretty good that they're teaching you guys in C++ as your starter language rather than Java. Knowing C++ definitely sets you up for success. Did you guys learn pointers yet?

No we haven't, that was a very basic class. I didn't learn much from the professor. He taught us from powerpoint slides one night a week and then sent us home to do the projects on our own. Never did we sit in the lab as a class and practice or apply anything that he was trying to teach us. He was there for a paycheck. Everybody in the class was lost, excecpt for one guy who already does programming. As for myself, I am on the Networking side of the house.
