You wanna crown their asses, then crown their asses!
The Patriots WILL NOT win the super bowl this year.

The Patriots could win the super bowl this year, but I don't know what makes them a sure thing.

I'd give the Pats a 14% chance to go the distance as of right now...second highest in the league. Why so low? Because there are 32 teams, and a limited amount of luck to go around.

The Pats are a near lock to win the AFC East, but they will probably have to play 4 playoff games, and the chances of winning those games is not very high. At all.

I'm picking Jacksonville for the record. Byron Leftwich wins comeback player of the year in a land slide, and gets at least one vote for MVP.

I've picked the Jags the last two years and they've let me down. So I'm not sure I'm ready to pick them a third year. I'm kind of leaning toward Cincy actually

But that's a thread for another day

Would have been a good pick if Leftwich had stayed healthy.

The week to week performance of the 2006 Jags was so unpredictable that it was nearly impossible to learn anything from that season.

Just remember how dominant that team was at times. They massacred the Jets, a playoff team, 31-0 I think it was. They also killed the Colts at home. They lost 8 games, but usually by slim margins. I would say the 2006 Jags (8 wins) improved from the 2005 team (12 wins). But that doesn't mean a whole lot unless you can give a consistent performance (thus 4 less wins).

Which they figure to do this season. I see them getting HFA throughout the playoffs, and beating the Bengals and the Pats on the road to SB XLII.

I can see Cincy. They have an underrated team.

Jacksonville has a QB issue and that's why they won't make it. They might not make the playoffs.

kenny irons is out for the season tho. thats huge for them and its a tough blow, but Cincy does have a good team. any time you have carson palmer and chad johnson you have a chance

I'd give them a slightly higher chance, but I like your figure.
I'm picking San Diego...that's right, Norv Turner is going to pull a chucky and in his first season win the super bowl. I think SD and the Pats will face off in the playoffs and SD will remember the disrespect the pats showed last year.
