Re: The long overdue nail in the coffin for Brunell..
I "love" how there was an apparent need to throw religion into the discussion at the start of this thread.

But religion aside, Brunell's good days are well and gone. Dude needs to save face and hang it up soon. Before people remember the sucky Brunell and not the Brunell who was in his prime. For now though he needs to get axed. Collins is a solid 2nd string and the Skins can start grooming Palmer in a 3rd string spot.

If Brunell can't be relied on (as if he becomes Trent Green circa 2006), we pretty much have nothing behind Campbell. I'm glad that Collins is having a good preseason, but come three weeks from now, no one will remember/care what he did in the preseason. |

Re: The long overdue nail in the coffin for Brunell..
![]() ![]() If you truely think that, I am extremely happy that you are not in our front office. Brunell is no longer starter material, I think we can all agree to that, but he's a very good 2nd stringer. The fact that you guys are making HUGE assumptions during a FREAKIN PRESEASON game is laughable. IT'S PRESEASON!!!! Stop acting like it's the super bowl.

One of the reasons I hate preseason is cause of all the crazy fans that over value it. They have nothing else better to do in the offseason but wait for the preseason then of course they feel the need to play internet GM.
