And again I ask, do you have a link proving that Mark Brunell has been demoted to 3rd string?

That just means that Gibbs wanted to get him some time, nothing has been said or even rumored about this.

Can't really blame Touchdown Jesus for that collapse but I would like to know what he planned to do if that last ball had been caught by us.

It was classic when he started out with the wide receiver screen.

He did sling it around tonight but one shot to any part of his body and that will disappear.

Anyone still grasping to the idea that this guy can give you anything, I don't know what to tell you.

Brunell calls his own plays now. Campbell just said he "Thanks God" that his injury isn't too serious. Another Bible Thumper.

What does being a Christian have to do with anything? I take strong offense to that.

My folks are Christian. But I don't practice. But I too can't help but be a little weirded out by the fact that some people seem to have a problem with the God thing.

This isn't the seperation of church and state here, if he wants to thank God or Satan or the Boogeyman in under his bed, I think he can.

I just wish Brunell had a statue of Jobu in his locker. He would have been out of here a long time ago...

You're an idiot.

If your being sarcastic/snide, then rightfully blame me for missing it. But if you truly believe religion has any serious effect on football decisions, then I stand by my statement. And I'm being completely rational here, if a bit blunt.

I, for one, think we would have won tonight if Brunell had been an atheist. If he had put up that Hail Mary toward the end, there wouldn't have been an offensive penalty and we could have picked up a few safe yards and then kicked a field goal.

I have to acknowledge though that Brunell wasn't as bad as usual tonight, except that he brought along his usual flair for craziness.

Because he's a vet people like to call him wily and disciplined, etc. What he actually is, however, is a gunslinger who throws the ball out of bounds a lot but still can't be trusted with it.

Speaking of Brunell, Ramsey threw a 94 yd pass against the Cowboys tonight for a couple of TD's and over 170 yards, one of the better sets of stats in the exhibition season thus far. I wish him the best.

I was being sarcastic. It relates to the first post in this thread. "Putting the bible on the back burner". There are some who think Brunell got a free ride because he was religous but they seem to completely miss the fact that Campbell is also religous. We've been over this and I made my anti-antireligous position clear.

Sometimes I can't tell when I am being facetious myself. I thought more people were aware of my reactionary views. There I go again...

My bad...I missed the sarcasm. I retract my previous statement.
