After thinking more about it, I tend to agree with you now. I said before, that while I don't think it was the dirtiest hit ever I still think it was really cheap and I think the dude needs to be fined by the league. I don't think he should be suspended but he needs to be fined because it really appeared that he could have avoided hitting Campbell's knee if he tried to.

The guy was in the heat of the battle and stumbled and fell into JC's legs. You could see he even tried to wrap JC up while he was getting hit. It was not a dirty hit in the least bit nor should the guy be fined. No way could the defender re-gain his balance, lift his body above JC's waist and hit him. That is just ridicules. It's football and guys are going to get hit and that's just how it is. The league has gotten way to sensitive about this all because of Carson Palmer. That hit on Palmer started all this non sense. In the pocket guys are going to be getting pushed and shoved all over the place and at some point someone is going to fall on the QB's knee. If Andre Carter did the same thing to Tony Romo we all would be defending Carter.

Does anyone remember the hit on Trent Green a few years ago? That is a dirty hit cause Rodney Harrison had plenty of time to pick himself back up, he just choose not to.
