I really dislike Arch because of the things he said about the Redskins organization to the media. He wasn't a team player and even if he got a raw deal he's not going to win my favor going one on one with Gibbs. Personally I don't think he got a raw deal i think he underperformed when a lot of people thought he wouldn't

i seriously doubt he has ever been on any HGH or whatever. the guy has a training routine harder than anyone i have ever seen. i cant stand him because he sucked for us but i will give him credit where credit is due, he works his ass off. from fast to slow could be from nagging injuries or just lack of enthusiasm, who knows. |

But just to put it in perspective - imagine signing the biggest contract for a safety ever in the history of the NFL and not even being a starter going into the 1st game of the season (Prielou was the starter but got injured on the kickoff) Thats gotta be really tough on your confidence. Regardless, I still wanna expose his weakness in coverage come December.

He also had a rockin' one tackle yesterday. Go Arch!

He said this on December 28, 2006 He says: "I'm a grown man. I don't like getting lied to," Archuleta said. "All people want is for people to be straight up with them. I don't mind bad news. I don't mind negativity. I don't mind if somebody says to my face what my flaws are and what I'm doing wrong and what kind of person they think I am. Then on August 16, 2007 he said: Bears' Archuleta tries to re-establish himself - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review about last season "really taught me about balance." He learned what he can and can't do on the field, but the biggest lesson was this: "I'm allergic to negative people." Then he smiled. "I just don't thrive in negative situations," Archuleta said. "That's just not in football. When I'm around a negative person, I can't deal with it. It really shuts me down. Whether that's a friend who's constantly complaining, whether it's a coach who has a negative coaching style, whether it's somebody who's always feeling sorry for themselves -- I just can't deal with it." THis is just the tip of the iceburg with this guy. He said things worse then this and I think was the infamous "leak" in the locker room last year. Let's put it this way... If he was in the mafia he would have been whacked before the season started last year.

Re: Adam Archuleta to Start
While I have nothing personal against the guy - I thought he would be a good signing and provide us some solid backfield work, however, he struck me as a softie almost from the minute he got here. I remember one article where he said he used some touchy-feely music to get him up for a game. Now he says he can't deal with negative people. Since GW believes in tough love coaching, it is clear that Arch was not gonna fit in.
He's the guy in the office who constantly has to be told that he's doing a good job - As long as he gets positive feedback, he's a good worker. But, w/o constant coddling watch production plummet. Glad he's found someone who "appreciates" him. Maybe they can end their practices with a group hug. He was a mistake but it was the FO's mistake not Arch's. Throw that much money at me and I'll be miserable for a year. Got no hate for the guy - just think he's a bit of a cry-baby.

Re: Adam Archuleta to Start
I'm not a fan of Archuleta's and wasn't thrilled when he signed with the Skins. He actually sinked lower in my book for underperforming. I'm glad he's in Chicago and off of the Skins (it should've been a package deal with Jimoh).
