Lemar Marshall released for Randall Godfrey??

I really don't think we should get our hopes up too high about Godfrey. Sure, he probably has some gas left in the tank, but he aint going to be a Pro-Bowler for us folks.

I think he was brought here for a very specific reason and will be used in certain packages. And what the Skins are betting on is, Godfrey is a better fit in those packages than LeMar was.

My gut tells me, though, that LeMar hasn't fully bounced back from last year's injury.

I agree with this assessment completely. But, I don't think anyone is expecting him to be a pro-bowler. They shouldn't be anyway.
