Ellis: Still recovering, I think he is done as a Cowboy
Burnett: Bone Spurs removed, will be back in time for the opener
Newman: Planter Faciates, held out of preseason, will be ready for the opener. Yes I am concerned about this one, only Aaron Glenn and a list of "hopefuls" for depth. Which ain't sayin much!

WR Glenn: returned to practice this week, will play in opener. Had his knee scoped a week before camp started (negative).

Gramattica: Pulled hammy in warm-up at Texans game, being held out of final pre-sason game. But Folk(R) has not missed a FG or XP during practice, camp or preseason and could really challenge for the job. Grammatica has missed 2 FG's and an XP in preseason action.

So there is your update on your rival team.
