Fair enough. What I'm really trying to express through this thread is a sense that the Skins front office actually hasn't done a terrible job because I think they are only a few moves away from being a very competitive team.

For all we know, in a few years we could all be praising the moves that this FO has pulled off over the last few years.

You want to say "what if..." well what if by 2010 the following comes true:
-Guys like Golston, Montgomery, and Blades are seen as huge draft steals, a la Tom Brady
-Brandon Lloyd lives up to his potential and becomes the next Chad Johnson
-Antonio Pierce weighs 314lbs and is out of the league due to complications with diabetes
-Amobie Okoye had been to the Lindsay Lohan Memorial Rehab Clinic 3 times
-Joe Gibbs re-retires after winning his 4th Super Bowl ring
-Vinny C wins the NFL Exec of the year (does the NFL even have one of those)
-The cowboys go 0-16 two years in a row
