Re: Rumor: Brunell heading to Seattle

Ok lets say this is very legit, why play Brunell this game that much? Why play him a quarter and then let palmer and others get reps? Doesnt make much sense, and I highly doubt right after the game the Skins decided to first start talking to the Seahags. I am sure if this is a real trade then they must have started talking to them days ago.

The gameplan tonight seems to make no sense if this was a potential and looming move...

Maybe that touchdown drive sealed the trade. If so, it was pretty smart.

Gibbs is denying it, but do we really expect anything else from him?

Thank you Jebus!

This would be the best move in the last 3 years.

Re: Rumor: Brunell heading to Seattle

Collins has concrete shoes and a lame arm...he can dink and dunk though.
Palmer is horrible...just plain bad.

If this is true, we'd better get a player rather than a pick...I WR, DE would be nice...anyone would do.
I sure hope we at least get a 5th but I doubt it.
The only reason to do this would be salary cap relief.

Why wait so long?
no reps for Palmer.
This doesn't make sense based on who was playing.
If they were gunna do this, they should have played collins and palmer and benched Brunell.

I just refuse to believe this.

I would take a 32 ounce soda at the draft for Brunell. What makes you think that anyone would give us a 5th rounder?

This is the first I've heard of this. I'll have to do some digging. I'll give my former Channel 9 colleagues a call tomorrow.

But why would you move Seneca to TE?

Also, was it Levan Reid? Levan's my boy and all but he's the PFT of local sports. He just hurls any rumor out there and hopes it sticks

Re: Rumor: Brunell heading to Seattle

This has to be a joke.
Seneca Wallace at TE = ARE at fullback

Not to mention the timing. Show me the money, i.e. per warpath etiquette give me a link!

Re: Rumor: Brunell heading to Seattle

Everyone at Channel 9 was reporting it, I think it was Brett Heber and B-Mitch that first reported it though. If you put it on Channel 9 right now they are talking about it.

Re: Rumor: Brunell heading to Seattle

Comcast says the Redskins denied it to them. But it had a kind of "for now" quality. (Chick Hernandez)

Re: Rumor: Brunell heading to Seattle

They just talked about it and they said it is not a done deal yet but it is a source that is very close to Brunell, Brunell is aware of it and approves of it.
