Well you seemed to be pretty convinced very early on in the game that LSU was sunk for the season because they didn't come out of the gate like gangbusters. It's a long season, relax. Maybe they won't win it all, but they're still going to be in the thick of things and it's way to early to write them off, that's all I'm sayin'.

You're absolutely right about that. I just don't get why everyone has crowned them so early, and watching them today doesn't convince me.
There is no way they can beat USC for instance.

ps- earlier I said they will lose 2 games, that's not writing them off, or saying they were sunk for the season, that's saying they aren't going to win the whole thing.

we are talking about the same USC that lost last year to UCLA and Oregon State with a better offense than they have now. Dont start with that cause no one has crowned LSU with anything. Everyone is all over USC's balls.

What has LSU done to deserve a #2 ranking?

ps- Hawaii would rip your defense apart, but LSU was too chicken to schedule Hawaii. Hawaii even offered a large sum of money and they still chickened out.

yes we are on for the bet and Hawaii would get SMASHED by our defense. I am tired of Colt Brennan. He would get demolished by the LSU defense. And what good would come from us smashing them into the ground. It wouldnt really help us in the ranking. We didnt chicken out we declined, as did many other teams USC and Michigan included.

We're not talking about michigan and usc...we're talking about LSU and the fact that they for some mysterious reason don't want to travel to paradise to play football. Bunch of wussies.
