it's freakin Hawaii! PARADISE! Plus Hawaii offered to pay all the expenses, and offered a lump sum for them to play, and they still turned it down!
So you ask why...MONEY...that's why. And that's what college football is all about.

We knew we would be in the top 5 though. And once again Why should a top 5 ranked powerhouse travel back 3-4 time zones to play a sub-par team from a sub-par confrence. We arent Oklahoma. We would kill them.

no we didnt accept because we didnt want to TRAVEL to face a far less superior team. Hawaii has a tough offense which our defense negates. Our offense would run and pass all over their defense.
