Also going with 11-5. Problem is every year I am convinced that we will win the Super Bowl.

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
I think we will be 9-7 and make the playoffs. We will make a nice playoff run and have a chance to make some noise. I usually the eternal Redskins optimist. Trying something different this year.

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
9-7. I say 10-6 every year and we end up sucking. I am going to temper my enthusiasm this season and see if it changes anything. I hate big disappointments. On top of that, I do not see much depth with our team in terms of the defensive backfield and Wr corp. WE are screwed if JC goes down even for like a 3-4 week period.

11-5. Defense finishes in the top 5. Portis and Betts both finish with 1,000 yards.

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
We will be better--but only by a few games: 7-9.
I think we'll be 5-5 outside the NFC East but 2-4 within it. I think the Iggles and Boys are both better teams than us. |

I am thinking 10-6 as well, but how do you say the backfield is lacking in depth...if anything, its our deepest position on the field. That includes offense and defense. |

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
10 - 6, in the playoffs.
Wins: Miami, NYG, Detroit, GB, Philly, Tampa, Buffalo, NYG, Minn, Dallas Potential Losses: @ Philly, Arizona, @ NE, @ NY Jets, @ Dallas, Chicago Arizona and Chicago at home could easily be wins. As long as we stay healthy, based on our schedule, I'm feeling pretty good....but like many of us, I am an eternal Skins optimist. Unfortunately over the last 14 years or so our optimism hasn't worked out for the most part.

I feel 11 wins if not more from this team, our D is solid and with some work our O will get a lot better.

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
As much as I want to be optimistic for this team, I just don't think we are going to be able to get into the playoffs this year or break .500. We are either going to go 7-9 or 8-8 which in my eyes would be a great season as long as we show improvement. Honestly, we don't have much of a receiving core, who knows if Clinton can stay healthy (that's not really a much of a concern thanks to Ladell), and I think our defense will be amazing but what doesn't matter if we can't get the ball down the field once we are on offense.

I am trying to be realistic, and go with 9-7.

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
8-8. Threre'll be improvement from last year, but not enough. Campbell will have growing pains, the run defense will be sufficient, then they'll wear out by the end of the season.
I'm concerned about the O-line and the D-line, the wideouts, the secondary. The pieces just aren't all there yet. |

8-8. We're better, and Id say playoffs barring injury, but there is always an injury or two.
