The Skins should man handle this Dolphins team. No doubt in my mind.
I agree if this is a loss then morale will plumet within the organization and outside. I hoping the 2nd yr in this offense is the biggest variable that seperates this team from last years, but only time will tell. The offense starters are essentially the same, so if they struggle is it a reflection of the type of players they have?

Do you really believe that you can put up those offensive statistics against our defense? You do realize that we had the #4 defense in the league last year... and have made IMPROVEMENTS to it?

ugh hem... my friend I also like that prediction as noted earlier in the thread.... not sure about the defensive TD but that score feels very possible

Fin Fan Here...

Whats up? Fin fan here... not to worry though, I come in peace. I have talked with a few of you in another thread... as I needed 10 posts to make a thread so I could introduce myself. I come from FinHeaven.com, so feel free to come and join us! Just dont troll, we have a few of your trolls already on our board... lol

Anyway, I think this is going to be a close, low scoring game. I dont think your offense will be able to do much against our defense... and I dont think our offense will be able to do much against your defense. It is going to be a battle.

Fins Breakdown:

We have one of the best front 7s in the league. We were the 4th ranked defense last year, and upgraded from Donnie Sparagan to Joey Porter. Your offensive line is going to be up for a big challenge, as we create all kinds of pressure, with Taylor and Porter on the outsides, and Roth and Holiday rushing from the line. Also, we are very stout against the run. It will be a rough day for Portis and Betts (I got Betts on my FF team! I'm hoping for good things from him! Just not this Sunday lol ).

Now, our secondary. Our secondary isnt the greatest. They arnt bad, but they arnt Pro Bowlers either. However, they were ranked 5th in the NFL last year. The reason why they do so good, w/o a ton of talent is the pressure we get on QBs. Our blitz packages, along with the pass rushers we have make it extremely difficult for QBs to find the open WRs and exploit them.

Our offense is a big "?". We have talent at some of the skill positions, and Ronnie Brown is poised for a big season... but it all depends on our oline. I can all but guarentee you that our oline will struggle. We have shifted the whole thing around, and they arnt gelled yet. I'm hoping Trent Green makes it out alive.

The key to the game for the Skins: Protect Campbell. It is going to be EXTREMELY tough for you to keep this guy off his back. However, if you can protect him, and give him time... you may be able to get a deep pass to Moss. You dont beat us by running on us... you do it by passing on us. Its just hard to get the passes off.

I'm projecting a low 10-13 score... and I'll give the 13 to my Fins... shocked? lol

Good luck this season!! Just not this Sunday...

He didnt last that long at all. High 2nd round? He dropped in the draft a little because of his age. He is 25 already...

He'd be the #4 QB taken? The only reason he was #4 was because Andy Reid has gay love for Kolb and admitted he had it ever since watching his college highlights years ago.

The knock on him was his age and the fact he played at BYU in a shotgun happy
offense. But I have to be honest with you. And this is unbiased. I thought Beck was the best QB in the draft before we drafted him. You can imagine my excitement when we did draft him. He is smart. Accurate. Strong arm. Poised. Good pocket presence. And MAN is he tough. He is a little short though... at 6'2. But he is not the only 6'2 QB in the league. He will have a few passes batted down until he learns to find those passing lanes. But I firmly believe that Beck is the future of Miami. And he would have been the same for any team that drafted him. He has all the intangibles that you look for. I hope he is starting next year. The most important thing I saw about Beck when watching game footage on him during the offseason was that the guy just simply knows how to win games. He is one of those clutch QB's.
