I was going to post this before i read your post. What is so bad about JT as a #3? I'd like to think that he would be a pretty good #3. When he's in the game he ususually makes plays right? I guess the coaches see something else.

It's not a bad pickup for that price. Caldwell can play. However i doubt he catches 25 balls this year.

Well, I think after this move Lloyd's career as a Redskins are done. Who knows there is a small chance this could act as some sort of slap in the face and get him moving, I doubt it though.

No big deal, in case no one realized Patton looked awful good with Brady throwing to him, Caldwell is nothing special just another experienced WR to fill in. It sounds to me like Lloyd is very malcontent because of the way he has been used, and from what I can gather his effort on that 1 INT which I haven't seen raised some eye brows on his desire to succeed on the field. I doubt Lloyd would be having these problems if he had Brady throwing to him, it's been night and day for R.Moss.

Caldwell is a solid move, he should be able to contribute on 3rd downs at the least.

For those complaining about the front office just look at the Browns. Talk about a team in complete disarray.

It is true that Caldwell is a good WR, but I don't think we need him in the depth. Moreover, he screwed up the championship game with the pats last year by dropping a lot of crucial throws which means that he's not that good under pressure.

They should have signed Kelvin Kight who is another Patriot WR that was cut formally from the U of Florida. Did you see his game against the Giants? He will be a steal.

Kind of crazy that with Reche we now have 4 players from the 2nd round of the 2002 draft-Caldwell, Portis, Betts, Randle El

He will be a game day inactive for the whole season unless we have an injury to one of the wideouts

Re: JLC: Redskins Sign WR Reche Caldwell

Does anyone know for sure where Caldwell will fall in our system? My brother is saying that he is seeing reports (in Boston mind you) that Caldwell will be our #3 and replacing Lloyd. Can anyone verify this is true or not? Do we even know for sure yet?

Re: JLC: Redskins Sign WR Reche Caldwell

I read the same thing on one of the articles posted on the WP. Maybe it was the New Jersey paper???? Not sure if it's fact, but I'm gonna' give Lloyd a call, and see what he wants for his house.
