Re: Redskins vs. Eagles predictions
We all have our opinions. I think McNabb is about the most overrated QB of the last ten years. I mean, what game can you remember, when the Eagles really needed him, did McNabb show up and play brilliant?

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles predictions
Let's see. If Jason Campbell got us to three straight NFC Championship games, plus a Super Bowl would you be saying the same thing about him? I doubt it. Wasn't Mcnabb having a great year ( w/out TO ) last year before he got hurt? Doesn't McNabb have 153 TD's and 73 Ints and completes almost 60% of his passes? Plus he has great mobility that breaks the defense? C'mon. I know we all hate the Eagles but McNabb is a very very good QB.

If defenses around the league would treat McNabb like a Roethlisberger or a Hasselbeck, it would allow them to defend some of Philly's bread and butter plays better. Yeah, McNabb would beat you deep every once in awhile (like he does anyway), but ultimately the Eagles offense would be less effective. And I have to say, when you do a good enough job to distort reality not only in your only locker room, but around the entire league, thats not just good coaching, thats downright exceptional coaching that creates a decisive competitive advantage for your team. Much more effective than videotaping signals. Anyway, it's on GW this week to play his own game and not get beaten by Brian Westbrook. |

Moreover, name the last time McNabb had ANY HoF-type WR, TE, or RB at his disposal. I like Brian Westbrook as a fantasy player, but the guy has one 1,000 yard rushing season. With the exception of Tom Brady, most top-notch QBs have a Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, etc. Not so with McNabb. That man has done more with less than anyone except Tom Brady. |
