Personally, I thought the old Sunday night crew of Mike Patrick, Paul McGuire and Joe Thiesmann was fine.

Agreed, nothing wrong with that crew at all.

ESPN is just too concerned with enterainment value and catering to the casual fan.

When the Redskins win a road division game, the coverage bothers me a lot less. I think that it would help if the director would have an iron clad rule to show the entire play. Last night there was a couple of times where they cut away from the booth just after the snap which really sends the message to the viewer that they are watching a male version of The View and that the game will be shown if it's convenient. I think that's the wrong approach, but like I said, as long as we win.
