I was thinking about that same thing, and it couldn't be truer. Every 3rd down is extremely critical.

From watching the team, I get the feeling that most of our offensive 3rd down success is due to JC. He's a scrambler, and that has helped out, but he is also very poised. I think part of it is that there are throws he simply isn't afraid to make. He has the arm to put it on a WR with less of a chance of a defender making a play. I think MB's problem was less his arm strength and more his confidence in his arm. I know 2 or 3 times this year and many times last year I said to myself, "There is no way MB makes that throw. He probably doesn't even try it." Even if the pass goes incomplete the fact that he had made the throw shows the defense that it is something we'll do. When MB isn't making the throws the defense simply stops putting any effort into defending it since MB has shown he isn't willing to do it. I really think keeping the defense from simply eliminating one aspect of your offense is the key to offensive success in the NFL now. JC really gives us a better chance at that. I am a big JC believer.

Your right, JC has no fear to throw the ball. Granted, he has thrown of couple int's (maybe because no fear) but he threads the needle frequently.
Look at the td pass to Cooley. Looking at the replay, I thought...what a great pass as Cooley was getting doubled with another defender in the area. He throws that type of ball all the time. Given a little more time, he will be spectacular
