Re: Great Playcalling, Joe

Everyone wants to pile on Joe for the playcalling, but let me ask a question: does anyone know where our receivers are? Seriously, other than ARE, I have not seen anybody really making huge catches this season. Santana seems like he's running at half speed with all the groin injuries. Cooley's been the invisible man other than last week's prayer in the corner of the endzone. Hell, I think Yoder has made as many big grabs as Cooley. So playcalling? I don't know, Jason threw several deep balls on first down, late in the game that I felt were good calls. But our receivers were blanked by a pretty lousy secondary.

agreed with you that cooley seems to be surprisingly quiet...concerning but as for play calling, i don't think people are taking issue with the calls late in the 4th quarter (When we were behind)- as much as they are annoyed with plays called in the previous drives...all game...
