Gibbs seems a little dismissive by saying that each season is a new year, even though losing leads has been a recurring theme since his return. I find it astounding that Gibbs 1.0 was 47-3 at home when holding a halftime lead, while Gibbs 2.0 is 9-7 in similar situations, including 4 straight losses. Great article by JLC.

Considering two of the past three seasons have resulted in losing records, I don't think this stat is very surprising. Bad teams will find ways to lose games.

we cant do what the pats or cowboys do by throwing the ball with the lead. we might make a mistake and lose the game. Thats the reason we won the game against NY> What we lost by playing conservative you have to be kidding,
