I've never been to FedEx and honestly I don't care if I ever go. Football is the ultimate TV sport and I'd really rather not deal with the traffic, high prices, and the hassle of going to a game. |

Re: Redskins Stadium music
I've been there twice and while it's cool to go to a game it is a major pain in the ass getting to and from that stadium. Last year I was at the Titan game. I was dropped off at the stadium and the closest we could get was like two miles away and it was an up hill walk to the stadium. On the way back we took the subway, which was on the other end of the stadium, also about a two-mile walk UP HILL!! It was a 1 o'clock game and we got back to the hotel about 8:00 that night. It will be a long time before I do that shit again.

I also try to anticipate the end of the game. Sometimes you can duck out right at the last play, haul ass, and get out ahead of the wave of madness. I've been to both RFK and Fed-Ex, and have never been disappointed at either stadium. If you use a combination of common sense, and a little patience, you'll have a blast.

SoupsUncle,
Yes you are absolutely correct Sandman would be much better at pumping up the crowd. |

It's a football game not a nightclub! Sure, maybe some old school heavy metal or something like that would get more people in the crowd excited but, like I said before, the players like stuff like Soulja Boy so they should keep playing it. If I see the entire D going nuts while the other team is in the huddle I get excited, regardless of what is playing! And BTW, I saw plenty of people in the stands doing the stupid Superman dance every time they played it.

Re: Redskins Stadium music
RobH4413,
I agree. I get to the games early 10 ish and never have problems getting into the parking lot. I stay put for about 45 minutes afterwards and sit with some buds and rehash the game and then it's not bad leaving at all. Hey what do people expect to drive up 5 minutes before the game and get to their seats in time. Like Rob said there's 90,000 people going to the game. You gotta plan for that. |
