Re: Redskins Stadium music
No doubt about staying home these days. Not that I am putting down my own female race here but I pride myself on being a true fan. That means no cell phone calls during the game, no trips to the bathroom during the game, paying attention and screaming my ass off on big defense situations. I was at the Lions game and I can't tell you how many assholes around me were more focused on drinking and trips to god only knows where than they were watching the Skins put on a hell of a performance. I think I pulled a freaking muscle getting up and down out of my seat so people could constantly get through.

Come on, when you gotta go you gotta go. And some people like being completely smashed while watching the game *coughTMCcough* To each his/her own, I suppose.

Now I know why you've become a crowd favorite here. The music, I'm torn. It is supposed to get the crowd hyped, which in turn is supposed to get the players hyped. But it only works if the crowd and players have different tastes, and since all 11 starters on defense are black I'm going to guess that hip hop is a safe choice to get the defense hype. I get the point, and I agree, variety is the spice of life. THis thread does seem a little ticky-tack, kinda like "Cindy Crawford is fine, but what about that mole!" We're 3-1, if they have to play Soulja Boy on a nonstop loop to get a win, so be it. Personally, I'd rather see the players dancing to Soulja Boy than the crowd dancing at all. BTW, I was at Fedex on Sunday and LOVED the "We want Dallas" chant that got cranked up at the end of the game. |
