It wouldn't have...9 seconds would have been all we got, and we had a turnover on downs to end the game, so it's not like the 9 seconds would have mattered at all.

It's really not about the 9 seconds per se; it's about being prepared for situations like this. Planning ahead - what are going to do if we were put in this situation or that situation. It just doesn't look like gibbs and company have thought about situations beforehand. 4th and 1, it looks like we get a bad spot, late in the 4th qtr, down by 3. What do you do?
Under 2:39 left in the game, 1 timeout left. When do you call the timeout ?

These things need to be hashed through now, before, after the game - instead of during the game when you have 5 seconds to make a decision.

I actually agree with you on the whole...but just saying it wouldn't have mattered in this game, so I can't blame the coaching staff for anything in this loss.
Could they have had better clock management? Of course, but I just don't think it makes any difference in this game which makes it a moot point.
