agreed, scoring on long epic 80 yard drives is not necessary in todays NFL...we need to be starting on a shorter field= less chance of screwing up.....need to cause more TO's favre was trying to lose the game yesterday

Didn't we start at the 50 yard line (thanks to Rock's great return) when Moss fumbled and CW ran it back for the deciding TD? Short field didn't help us much there

True True.....think we started on like the 35....but we did cost ourselves at least 100 yards of field position by not picking off some of those gimme's and failing to recover fumbles. With a wet field and a shaky run game....we really really needed those plays

It doesn't help that you know more about why we lost. All it does is prove that some people don't know. Still a loss.

You call people out for not knowing what is going on with the Skins or game. Like field position or back-ups out of place.

It was obvious that field position wasn't the reason for our troubles or back-ups being out of place was not the reason. What is the point of calling out dumb posters?

They have no impact.

I'm sure its easy to get frustrated running the site as a MOD but fans are fans. Most don't know anything about why we win or lose.

Why in your opinion did the Skins lose to the Packers? I will tell you my opinion. Because we didn't score more points than them..........

You've totally lost me. Who was I calling out? You think I was trying to call out The Zimmermans? I wasn't. Not at all.

I think we lost for two main reasons 1.) We didn't catch the ball, 2.) We shouldn't even have been throwing the ball in the first place. I believe we had a 2:1 pass to run ratio. In conditions such as yesterday Portis and Betts each should have had 15-20 carries.

I'm not calling anyone out.

Sometimes its needed. I look at this site and there are alot of really dumb comments and posts. Some people just calling for coaching changes and bla bla bla. Totally tune those out. This is going to come down to our core gelling together and making things happen. I'm all for passing on 3rd and 2 or reverses or giving campbell more rope. But when you outplay another team and just look so badly losing you have to really wonder what to do next.

The line is banged up so just pounding on the Cardinals will not work. We need to stick with the mix it up approach and execute for gods sake! I know the conditions were bad but looking back wouldn't you have rather seen a missed 50 yarder than Betts for no gain in the flats? I know its monday morning qb but give it a shot. Conditions my ass, kick the damn ball and if you miss oh well. 4th down in the NFL is playing Russian Rulet with 4 bullets in a six chamber gun........only a matter of time til you blow your brains out like 0-2 on 4th yesterday.

We will work Arizona and get back to form on Sunday.

HAIL!!!!!

Well, up until yesterday I thought our offensive line was doing decent given all the injuries they have sustained. That being said the clock management has been terrible. Above it all though, playcalling. Good coaches run plays that give us a chance to win. They didn't do that in the Giants game and they tried to sit on a very small lead in the Eagles game. Honestly though all those three are a big contributing factor to our losing.

Yeah, the sitting on a small lead thing drives me UP THE WALL. That's standard Gibbs though.

I'll say so far it's been the dropped passes. But the O-line is definitely the biggest concern going forward.
