Re: gibbs's timequake
I've listened to both the Sunday post-game and Monday press conferences a couple of times now and, maybe I'm missing it but, I heard no mention in either of the Cardinals being in the NFC East
He does say the game is important, but understand the context of how he's saying it. In both cases he says because of the loss to the Packers it puts more emphasis on the Cardinals game and the game is now "hugely important" More important yes, but more important than it may have been a few weeks ago. Not necessarily more important than the Packers game. Besides, what coach is going to say his upcoming opponent isn't important?

Re: gibbs's timequake
You should call in to Redskins Radio next Tuesday and ask the coach if he's senile. I'm sure that he would be glad to discuss it with you.

obviously i dont think hes senile... however if i could ask him a question, i would ask him why at week 6, we still have not found out what kind of a footbal team we really have. and why it is that every year fans are told to wait down the stretch for absolutely nothing to happen. then i would ask him if he is out of his mind agreeing with toyota. thank god im not a tony stewart fan. |
