Re: Is The NFC East Back?
Quote:
In a game in which not a lot of points are scored, a few fluky plays can decide a game. That's why I am generally a proponent of big passing offense. I don't like to leave the outcome of a game to chance. Although the passing offense is the strength of our team, we are still a pretty balanced offense. We just don't generate big plays in the running game. In this case, two plays were enough to do us in, when all the other actions that occured in that game would have resulted in a Redskin win. Did we get any fluky plays to fall our way? Well some calls in the end zone on that Green Bay drive went for us, but nothing like the unfortuante inability to not ever recover a fumble. Not only is this stuff correctable, but it doesn't really even need to be corrected. We just need to keep playing like we have been and good things will happen. Holding on to the ball doesn't hurt though.
