Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions

The Redskins will start things off with a time consuming 10+ play drive that will culminate in a Ladell Betts TD reception. They'll jump to a 14-0 lead on a CP rushing TD on a drive highlighted by two clutch catches by Keenan McCardell. Arizona will go three and out for the first few drives before finally connecting on a field goal.

14-3 at the half. Second half gets off to a big start for the Redskins when, on the first play from the scrimmage Rocky picks off a pass over the middle and runs it back to the Cardinals' 8 yard line (shades of Kurt Gouveia in Super Bowl XXVI). Campbell promptly finds Cooley in the back of the endzone for a 21-3 lead

It stays that way until the early fourth when the Cardinals connect on yet another field goal to make it 21-6. After a three and out by the Redskins, the Cardinals get a couple of big plays by Edgerrin James prompting thoughts of "here we go again" but a jarring hit by Laron Landry knocks the ball loose and forces the Cardinals to punt on 4th down.

The Cardinals try some trickeration and fake the punt...unsuccessfully. Portis works the clock, until a play action to Santana seals the win 28-6.

Andre Carter adds three sacks to his resume
