I think the fans are getting tired of being turned on and off.

They see games like against the Lions and the Eagles and they get excited and go, "Damn, this team may really have their act together this year". Then they go to games and see things like this and start losing faith and getting pissed.

Skins have a serious problem with consistency and the fans at FedEx know it.

Why are posts questioning the playcalling 'moronic'? Can you say that the playcalling hasn't been very conservative this half?

It all starts up front. When you can't run the ball it makes it tough to do anything, and when you're missing 3 starters along the offensive line it's bound to limit what you can do.

But let's just take the easy route and blame the play calling.

It limits what you do but as some of us have been saying all year, what does that have to do with taking a 3 step drop and throwing a slant on 2nd and 7 when the defense has 9 in the box? No intelligent fan wants to see JC taking 7 step drops and heaving the ball downfield every play, but when all of us on our couches KNOW we're going to see run left, run left, short pass, punt on every second half possession with a 1 or 2 TD lead then it's not just 'OL problems'. That's as much of an 'easy way out' as you claim playcalling is.

You want to throw a quick slant with 9 in the box?? Good luck finding a passing lane.

I agree with you about the Giants and Packers game, but this game is completely different.

The Giants game we did through quite a bit, and Packers game just had terrible execution.

Yes Oline is banged up but that is no excuse for not even trying hard to score.

We may have the worst 2nd half offense in the league.

Frost is averaging 31 yds a punt, including the one that bounced about 20 yards.

I think this was a trap game, with NE next week. I just don't think we're quite as good as the first few weeks made us believe. Our defense is killer but it's just not there yet on offense.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

could be a very small problem but i just think the play calling is bad.... for our passing game, the o-line is a run problem

You must've missed that blind side sack on Campbell when Wade let the man go clean past him. So, our o-line problems are not exclusive to the run.

If it was Wade's man that got the sack it coulnd't have been blind sided.

The point is, Wade let him go cleanly.
