Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

I want to know what it is that makes these "athlete's" jump around and taunt others to make others look at them. Yes, we saw you made a good play, but unfortunately, there are several plays still left, the game is not over.
Doing what Fletcher did is unexcusable, he turned a GREAT tackle into a penalty and eventual TD. Maybe gibbs should fine him. But still, the question remains, why in the world do people act so stupid like that.
When I played, I scored a TD and went back to the huddle for the extra point. When I made a good play and gave a good fist pumping, but I never taunted anyone or acted like an idiot.
I was actually flagged for spiking the ball one time, and I never did it again.

Football is an emotional game. Guys are going to get excited after making big plays, the NFL loves to take the fun out of the game at times it seems. I don't see a big deal in what Fletcher did. Let 'em play.

But that's not "letting them play", the play was over. Show some class.

Barry Sanders was the best ever IMO, and he never did crap like that. Even when he scored a TD, he dropped the ball and went back to the huddle. He was true class, and unfortunately the NFL lacks a lot of class now-a-days. I think the NFL is dead on with those penalties.

Letting them play means don't throw flags and let the game get taken out of the players hands. Two big penalties on that drive kept the Cards alive.

I agree with you in certain cases, but not when you're acting like an idiot. You need to play with class. We shouldn't blame the refs, we should blame the players...it's not like this is a brand new rule. Play the damn game...you can gloat after the game.

I agree. Did anyone notice a lot of the defensive players (Rogers in particular) DANCING as they were backed up to their endzone on third down? It's 3rd and goal and Rogers is dancing like the whole thing has been decided.

Dumbass. It's no wonder Arizona went on to get the TD on 4th.

I can't believe we haven't tried bringing some extra pressure on Warner. He's at his worst under pressure, you can't give him all day to throw.

I agree...but it was working most of the day...we shot ourselves in the foot on that drive.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

Yup, this front four shit works all the time IF we don't get penalties.

The Skins have been called for some BS today.
