I think we will hang in early and like 12th said...the second half is another story. I don't think we get blown off the field because our D is that good to keep it within a couple scores.

If your Redskins are in it by halftime and manage to cover the spread. You guys will be the first team to do this and should consider this a moral victory.

Welcome to the board, chris66. You can change your avatar to match the Pats if you like - and we look forward to your comments this week.

Thanks man I appreciate that. It should be a good game this Sunday. unfortunately your offense needs to figure out how to get first downs or your D will be wiped out by halftime.

I see a lot of posters knocking Miami on this board, but they were the only team so far to limit the pats to 51 offensive possessions. Usually they are in the high 60's

I have the utmost respect for Tom Brady and this offense, but I dont think people understand how good this defense is. This is the same coach who took Randy Moss away every time we have played him, remember he shut Randy down with Garnell Wilds covering him, thats right. I really think this is the only secondary in the league that can match up with you guys, not saying we will shut you down, but we definately match up, I hope Welker is ready to get hit in the mouth. Its always cool to meet a fan from another team thats not a jackass.

That is because Randy Moss had no complement, no threatening #2 guy with his other teams. Go ahead and double up Moss, go high-low on him. Welker will have that secondary for lunch just as soon as you do. Have you seen Welkers number the last 3 games? Then try and cover Welker too and you will see what Stallworth can do. And lets not forget Watson.

That is my point, they have WAY WAY too many weapons, as soon as you THINK you have one neutralized, the other one burns you. They have 3 WRs that practically demand being doubled at all times because of thier talent level, but there is just not enough players on defense to do that.

We dont have to double Moss, we have a much better secondary than you think.

I'm sorry, but Welker and Stallworth don't demand being doubled, at least not with our secondary. Maybe some other secondaries in the NFL, but not this one. Yes, they demand attention, just as Watson does. This will be a tough test, no doubt. But, I think the Skins will surprise some people this week. Even if they don't win the game, I think you will see them give the Pats the best game yet this year.

First of all, welcome... and change your avatar.

Second of all, that arrogance suits you very well. You're exactly what I'd expect a Pats fan to act like.

Sorry Chris, we're past moral victories here in D.C. I remember when we played Indy a couple of seasons ago. It was the same thing. We had them at the half and let them off the hook.

Like I said, if nothing else happens, the Pats will get hit this week. Put that in your over/under.

No such thing as moral victories in the NFL.

I hope all the home fans are thinking like you so tear will be shed after the game. You're gonna lose the game bro. Back down to earth for the PATS and the evil empire!!!!
