Re: What's the defensive gameplan for NE?
Minor miracle to win this game. Second half the Skins fall apart, not like the ole days where they beat the other team up in the 4th Qtr winning or losing.

i really sound like a homer saying the skins will win, and in reality i know its a longshot. but if they do win i get to say i called it and it would have been posted.

Re: What's the defensive gameplan for NE?
I am thinking this is a winnable game. They can be run on and we are the best D they have faced. Run the ball WELL, keep it out of TB's hands, punch Moss in the mouth, Landry covers Welker, and the LB's play pass first. It can be done.
With that, and as long as our offense gets its collective head out of its collective ass, I go out on a limb and say we win. Not by much, and the scores will be in the 20's.

Re: What's the defensive gameplan for NE?
here is my plan:
1. play zone to avoid big plays and hit them hard, I mean hard so that they will be afraid to go over the middle. take away their 2 other receivers i think walker and stallworth can be intimidated by hitting them hard. that leave moss to be double teamed. 2. our front 4 should be aggressive and continue to rush without any help from the LB. LB will drop back in the zone and will help in hitting the receivers. DL should stop the run by themselves with little help from the backers. 3. control the ball on the offense (this is the most difficult thing to do by our offense) so that our defense will not be exhausted at the end of the game. extend drives (not by running the ball but by completing high percentage short passes) |

Re: What's the defensive gameplan for NE?
So your saying that an offense that is scoring 20 pts on avg is going to put up 28pts. If your guys get 28 its because we have 45 already and it will be garbage pts against backups

Re: What's the defensive gameplan for NE?
Okay, I read all of these posts and couldn't find the answer (high school education only but I'm working on it)...
When is Marcus Washington due back? Before showing me where this information is located, please keep in mind that I am inherently lazy and rely upon others to cover for me. Thanks in advance for the sorry soul that continues to promote my slothfulness.
