Hey, that's a good idea... Her birthday is Dec 23rd too. So I could knock out the engagement, Christmas, and her birthday with one stone, literally!

In reality I'd get a pretty big eye roll if I didn't come through with any presents....

If I came through with a ring, presents more than likely wouldn't matter. But think of all the extra points I have the opportunity to gain if I do show up with presents also! I could cash in on those for a few years easily...

LOL...I'm pretty sure you only can cash those points in just once, twice max. After that it'll be back to "what have you done for me lately?", "do this do that," and "don't forget we're going to such and such function/place this weekend."
